STAMPING PRESS OPERATOR

Essential Functions

• Required to stand, walk and reach with hand and arms to handle material
• Must be safety conscience always and exercise great care regarding equipment and materials
• Operate single stroke press and auxiliary equipment in a safe and correct manner
• Perform and document required visual and physical quality inspections as indicated by 
• Activates machinery by pushing buttons or depress a foot pedal
• Stack, label, pack and transport finished work pieces
• Use measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers

Desired but not required qualifications

• One-year related experience and training on metal stamping presses 
• Background or knowledge in some type of mechanical orientated trade
• A strong mechanical aptitude is helpful
• General knowledge of operating metal cutting machine tools, saws, drills, mills, grinders and hand tools

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

• Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 10 hour shifts.
• Stand on antifatigue mat and walk on concrete over the course of 10-hour shift

   Available for overtime as required.
