What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver in Richmond position at Allegiant Care Plus?
Duties:
- Assist with daily activities and provide support to individuals in accordance with their resident rights
- Administer medications as directed and ensure proper documentation
- Assist with lifting and transferring individuals as needed
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement behavior management plans
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
