This is a full-time, on-site CWI Welding Inspector role based in Warren, MI. The CWI Welding Inspector will oversee and perform detailed quality control, welding inspections, and quality assurance processes. Responsibilities include conducting inspections of welding work, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, identifying and documenting deviations or defects, and collaborating with teams to maintain high-quality work throughout construction or manufacturing projects. The inspector will also provide technical support to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Experience in Welding Inspection and practical knowledge of Welding techniques
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices
- Strong skills in Inspection and ensuring compliance with established standards
- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification or equivalent qualification required
- Attention to detail and the ability to assess technical documentation and specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to welding and inspection
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
