Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide support to a seven-year old male for 10 hours a week. The hours and days are flexible. The client is male and is diagnosed with Autism and Developmental Delay. He does attend school. He is independent but wanders so we are there to keep him safe and help the family out. JOB STARTS MONDAY APRIL 13th.
Duties
- Assist client with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Assist in reading and keeping him company.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Experience with children and Autism is needed.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of confidentiality in healthcare settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care giving.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting or assisting clients as necessary.
