Are you an experienced Healthcare Construction Project Manager who thrives in complex, fast-paced hospital environments?
We are working with a well-established healthcare construction contractor that delivers renovation and expansion projects across South Florida's leading medical facilities. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to oversee multiple healthcare renovation projects within active hospital campuses.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who excels at managing multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and maintaining strong relationships with hospital leadership, facilities teams, and end users. If you enjoy leading projects from planning through closeout while operating in mission-critical healthcare environments, this could be an outstanding opportunity.
As Healthcare Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for simultaneously managing multiple renovation projects ranging from approximately $3-$5M. You'll act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent healthcare renovation projects within occupied hospital environments.
- Serve as the primary liaison between hospital leadership, facilities departments, user groups, and project teams.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and execution.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, and project documentation.
- Coordinate project phasing and logistics to minimise disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
- Facilitate OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and provide executive-level project updates.
- Support preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure successful project closeout, commissioning, and turnover.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of healthcare construction experience.
- Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously within occupied healthcare facilities.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing project demands.
- Experience using Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience delivering healthcare construction projects such as imaging suite renovations (including MRI, CT, PET/CT, and LINAC facilities), clinical and patient care area renovations, infrastructure and MEP upgrades, and AHCA-regulated healthcare construction projects.
