Job Summary
The Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction is a key district-level leader responsible for ensuring the highest quality of educational programming for all students. This role provides visionary leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the district’s K-12 curriculum while managing Federal Programs and grant-writing initiatives. The Coordinator also oversees the Professional Development ecosystem for all staff and provides direct Supervision and Evaluation of professional teaching staff to ensure instructional excellence. Key Competencies include strategic thinking, regulatory knowledge, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Must be able to travel between district buildings. The successful candidate is required to attend evening Board of Education meetings, state-required meetings/trainings, and community forums as needed. The work includes prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
Qualifications
· Education: Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field, minimum.
· Certification: Valid State Administrative Certificate (e.g., Principal or Supervisor Certificate)
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
o Previous experience is school administration or a district-level leadership role preferred.
o A proven track record in grant writing and/or Federal Program management is helpful.
Pay: From $92,000.00 per year
