What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brick and Masonry Repairs Technician position at Allegheny Restoration Inc.?
Seeking applicant for general labor, brick and concrete repairs. Work would include operating electric chipping hammers, grinders, cement mixing tools, caulking replacement, cement placing and finishing, installation of brick and stone, replacement of mortar joints and wall/floor coatings. Tasks described above can be completed at ground level from scaffolding or elevated working platforms such as swing stages and boom lifts. Workers are required to hold a current driver's license and provide own transportation to and from work. Employees are required to complete yearly criminal background checks and clearances to work at school/university campuses and government offices. OSHA 10 Certification is required. Workers will frequently be assigned projects working away from home Monday - Thursday, however local job opportunities do occur. Employer compensates for time spent out of town, including housing and travel pay. Starting pay for basic labor is $20.00 an hour and increases with experience.
