What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Hospitalist position at Allegheny Health Network?
Allegheny Health Network’s (AHN) Pediatric Institute is actively recruiting a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to support our growing NICU presence in the Pittsburgh Market.

- Management of Level 2 Neonates within a Level 3 NICU
- Attending deliveries and providing resuscitation as needed
- Managing infants requiring respiratory support (CPAP, nasal cannula)
- Collaborating with neonatologists for complex cases and transfers
- Opportunity to work with medical students

- Network support of experienced and diverse neonatologists
- Shifts include 8 and 12-hour assignments
- Night coverage opportunities optional
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Experience or recent training in neonatal resuscitation and management of premature infants >32 weeks gestation preferred
- Familiarity with Level 2 NICU protocols and procedures
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
- DEA and CPR Certification required prior to employment
