Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Repair or replace broken glass in commercial settings
- Install glass, mirrors, aluminum storefront systems, aluminum doors, windows, and other glass products
- Apply caulking, sealants, and weatherproofing materials to ensure proper installation and prevent leaks
- Remove existing glass and prepare openings for new installations
- Load, unload, transport, and handle glass
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and glass-cutting equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors regarding project progress and requirements
- Assist with emergency glass repair and board-up services as needed
- Travel to job sites as required (Weekdays only)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge And Skills Required
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to follow directions and learn
- The ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, Dayshift (Fluctuation in schedule per week)
- No Weekends
Experience
- Preferred experience in glass installation, glazing, construction, or a closely related field
- Looking for someone with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn! (No glazing experience? No problem. If you're handy, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn, we'd love to hear from you)
Language
- English (Required)
License/Certifications/Legal Requirements
- Driver's License: Clean driving record required, no DUI’s
- Background check required
- Clean criminal history (no felonies)
- Must be able to pass regular drug screenings if needed
Travel
- MUST be able to travel frequently when needed
- Local
- Out of town overnight stay travel required
