Help Wanted: Gas Station - Pump Attendant
We are seeking a reliable Gas Station Pump Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with fueling, process transactions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Requirements:
*Must be 18 or older.
*Basic math and cash handling skills required.
*Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
*Some knowledge of retail industry. (Training will be provided for everyone)
*Must be able to move quickly and efficiently.
*Must be able to stand for long hours.
*Must have a willingness to learn.
* Ability to work in different store locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel Dispensing: Pump gasoline or diesel into customers’ vehicles and ensure proper handling of equipment.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide directions or basic product information.
- Transactions: Collect payments for fuel and provide correct change.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols when handling fuel, monitor for leaks or hazards, and report issues.
- Station Maintenance: Keep fueling areas clean, dispose of trash, and maintain outdoor areas.
