Allegheny Country Club has an excellent opportunity available for a Fitness Instructor/Attendant.
In this role you will (but not limited to):
The primary role of the position will provide a comprehensive range of fitness programs to our member and guests.
- Responsible for assisting members and guests with general fitness inquiries and providing supervision and guidance with basic exercise principals
- Demonstrate fitness knowledge through offering suggestions on variety, machine adjustment, and technique
- Encourages continued training with members and guests by evaluating existing programs and modifying them with the current trends.
- Create new programs to maintain interest levels of members and quests.
- Maintain the highest quality standards in the fitness area
- Keep all areas of the fitness floor clean and organized; wiping down the fitness center’s machines, removing towels, trash, etc.
- Enforce all club and fitness policies
Qualifications & Skills:
- Pursuing a degree in sports and exercise science or similar
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 pounds
- Must be Red Cross certified in first aid, CPR and AED or currently obtaining
- Ability to work independently, as well as to accept and follow directions on given assignments
