The team here at AAGW is a small and driven group that was started over a decade ago by our co-founders, Josh Rowe and Bruce Piendl. We’ve formed a tight, dedicated group who is driving to expand our footprint beyond the confines of the greater Pittsburgh area. We’re in search of an E-commerce Associate who is looking to dive in and wear multiple hats while working in a tightly regulated industry.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer focused E-commerce Associate to support our online store operations and customer support on-site at our Bethel Park, PA facility. In this role, you will handle day-to-day order processing via GunBroker & WooCommerce, assist customers with product inquiries, and ensure that transactions strictly align with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong knowledge of firearms, excellent digital literacy, skilled in digital photography, and a commitment to compliant, top-tier customer service.
You’ll work collaboratively across the team to scale our business in a way that directly grows our bottom line, improves brand positioning, & focuses our e-comm sales strategy. Reporting directly to our co-founders and working alongside our marketing manager, the ideal candidate has a working understanding of auction websites as well as an interest in working on high-impact projects.
Objectives of this role
- Manage e-comm/shipping/website projects, furthering the company’s strategic goals
- Closely interface between the store and shop sides of the business, assisting in managing supply inventory and incoming/outgoing shipments
- Monitor changing industry trends, consumer feedback, and satisfaction levels
Core Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for our Gunbroker auction sales channel
- Curating product listing photographs, copywriting accurate descriptions, managing product listing schedules, shipping duties, & customer inquiries
- Customer Support: Answer inbound inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, product availability, compliance questions, and technical troubleshooting
- Issue Resolution: Handle returns/logistics, exchanges, refunds, and shipping delays quickly and professionally
- Support the team to plan, develop, and execute ongoing website updates alongside our agency partner
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: [2 years] of experience in customer service, preferably in e-comm / retail
- Communication: Exceptional written & verbal communication skills with a friendly tone
- Organized, detail-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Ability to take the lead on projects and manage time efficiently
- Basic knowledge of firearms & industry trends
