Direct Support Professional-In Home

Available Shifts:

• Portage - Mon - Fri 4:30p-7:30p
• Portage - Wed-Fri 11a - 4p
• Hastings - Mon & Fri 7a -8p or Sat & Sun 8a-8p
• South Fork - Mon - Fri 9a-2p
• Richland & Johnstown - various available hours

DSP-RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and specialized care in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
• Provide support and assistance to foster independence of individuals.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.
• Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community.

DSP-REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Have reliable personal transportation.
• 1-year experience with providing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Able to provide a full range of Personal Care services including, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, grooming, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, feeding, and mobility assistance.
• Compassionate, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Must have Valid Driver's License and vehicle to transport individual.
