WHO IS Alleghenies United Cerebral Palsy (AUCP)- AUCP is a non-profit organization founded in 1955. It started as a grassroots effort by a group of concerned parents who wanted to find support for family members aged 18 59 with physical and intellectual disabilities. Starting in a church basement, we have evolved into an organization serving over 4,000 lives 18 and older, with staff throughout PA. Our mission is to assist individuals with disabilities in meeting their basic needs, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting their independence while also allowing them to be active participants in the decision-making and direction of their services.
Position Summary

Join our team as a Service Coordination Lead Staff, where you will serve as the agency's key representative in assigned counties and play a vital role in developing, supporting, and enhancing programs that help participants maximize independence and achieve person-centered goals.
In this leadership role, you will support Service Coordinators, ensure contract compliance, foster strong community relationships, and help maintain high-quality services for individuals with disabilities or other related conditions. Work Location: Hybrid/Remote Position with the ability to complete visits in the community in PA. Must live in PA or be willing to travel to PA to complete home visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the agency representative in your assigned region.
Support and assist the Supervisor, Programs Manager, and CEO with program oversight.
Monitor, guide, and assist Service Coordinators to ensure person-centered planning and quality service delivery.
Help assign caseload coverage, delegate tasks, and provide operational support-especially when the Supervisor is unavailable.
Participate in performance management, staff development, training, and corrective action processes.
Lead or assist with staff meetings, training sessions, and program updates.
Review and monitor program requirements and service coordination effectiveness.
Assist with day-to-day program operations and office oversight.
Maintain communication with staff, providers, participants, and community partners.
Submit required reports on time and ensure accurate data entry and database monitoring.
Support compliance with all program, contract, and regulatory requirements.
Serve on committees, work groups, and agency meetings as assigned.
Act as Supervisor in their absence, including staff support and office coverage.
Provide additional assistance such as carrying a participant caseload when needed.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Social or Human Services or related field (e.g., psychology, social work, occupational therapy, rehabilitation counseling, special education, etc.).24 years of professional experience in the human services field, including conducting assessments.
2 years experience in case management for people with disabilities or with autism spectrum disorders.
At least 2 years of experience in community programs, 1 year in rehabilitation and/or working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
13 years of supervisory experience with proven leadership skills
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Strong skills in assessment, planning, and participant-centered service delivery.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and support a diverse team.
