What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Allegany Eye Associates?
Candidate must have good communication and social skills. At least 1 year of Medical Office experience is preferred.
Essential Duties
- Prepares the patient to see the physician, performs a preliminary exam and documents patient medical history.
- Performs basic and routine vision screening, administers eye medications.
- Cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic instruments.
- performs testing, photos and color testing as needed.
- Accurately records all patient information in electronic medical record system.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
