Overview
Allèe Salon & Spa is seeking an experienced and motivated Barber to join our talented team This is an ideal opportunity for an established professional who values independence while enjoying a collaborative, upscale salon environment. We're looking for someone who provides exceptional grooming and haircutting services — and who also excels in retail sales and client education, helping guests maintain their look with professional salon products. The available chair and station will be left in place by a former stylist, offering a ready-to-use setup within our modern salon space.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding barbering and haircut services, including fades, beard trims, shaves, and precision cuts. Welcome clients of all genders and ages — offering both traditional and modern styles.
Conduct detailed consultations to understand each client's goals and recommend personalized services. Actively promote and sell retail products, educating clients on how to extend and maintain their results at home.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with salon and state regulations. Manage appointments, communication, and service records using the salon software.
Create engaging social media content to showcase your skills, transformations, and product recommendations. Build and nurture lasting client relationships that reflect the Allèe experience.
Chair Rental Includes
stylist station within a modern, upscale salon. Access to shared amenities: beverage bar, break area, and client lounge.
Freedom to manage your own pricing, schedule, and clientele. Supportive team environment with stylists and other beauty professionals for collaboration and referrals.

Qualifications
Valid Iowa barber or cosmetology license. Established clientele preferred. Proven experience in a professional salon or barbershop environment. Strong technical, customer service, and retail sales skills. Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. Knowledge of current trends, techniques, and product lines. Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about continued learning.
