What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager- Fire Sprinkler Division position at Alleato Group?
We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Fire Sprinkler division, with a clear path toward promotion to Project Manager. This is a hands-on training role for someone who wants to grow into full project ownership on commercial fire sprinkler installations.
What you'll do:
- Support project managers with day-to-day coordination of fire sprinkler installation projects — scheduling, submittals, procurement, and subcontractor communication
- Assist with reviewing drawings, tracking material orders, and coordinating field crews
- Help manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and permitting paperwork
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and site supervisors to keep projects on schedule
- Learn budgeting, cost tracking, and client-facing project management as you progress toward a PM role
- Visit job sites periodically to monitor progress and support field coordination
What we're looking for:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Interest in construction, fire protection
- Prior experience in construction, fire sprinkler, or a related trade is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time
