Project Estimator

We're seeking a dedicated Estimator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence in the restoration and roofing industries.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background in mitigation and rebuild projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in estimating costs for restoration and rebuild work, a solid understanding of insurance processes, proficiency in Xactimate software, and a positive, can-do attitude. This role involves assessing damage, preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with insurance adjusters, and ensuring projects are scoped effectively for successful execution. Must be able to commute to Hutto office. 

• Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate damage from disasters such as water, fire, or mold, as well as roofing issues (e.g., leaks, storm damage, or wear).
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using Xactimate software, including labor, materials, and equipment for restoration, rebuild, and roofing projects.
• Collaborate with insurance companies, adjusters, and clients to negotiate and approve claims.
• Work closely with mitigation and rebuild teams to ensure estimates align with project timelines and budgets.
• Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders throughout the estimation process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates and related correspondence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team success with a proactive mindset.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the restoration, mitigation, and construction.
• Proven experience in mitigation (e.g., water extraction, drying, mold remediation) and rebuild projects (e.g., structural repairs, reconstruction).
• Strong knowledge of working with insurance companies, including claims processing, negotiations, and compliance with industry standards.
• Proficiency in Xactimate software for creating precise estimates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with additional estimating tools or software.
• Background in project management or supervisory roles within restoration.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
