IT Operations Engineer (MSP | L2 → L3 Growth Path | $73K–$104K Total Comp)

What You’ll Do
•Own and resolve Level 2 escalations with increasing independence
•Support multi-client MSP environments (onsite remote)
•Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Entra ID, SharePoint, security, licensing)
•Support and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
•Diagnose infrastructure issues—performance, connectivity, system reliability
•Manage Windows endpoints and server environments
•Perform Active Directory and Group Policy troubleshooting
•Troubleshoot networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
•Maintain clear, high-quality documentation
•Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
What You Bring (L2 Profile)
•3 years of IT support / systems experience
•MSP experience strongly preferred
•Hands-on with virtualization and Microsoft 365 environments
•Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, network, and cloud
•Ability to own issues through resolution without hand-holding
•Clear communication with both clients and internal teams
•Desire to grow into higher-tier engineering responsibility (L3)
Nice to Have (Signals of L3 Trajectory)
•Azure / Microsoft 365 certifications
•VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox experience
•Network / CCNA / firewall certifications
•Security or exposure to security frameworks
Compensation & Benefits
•Total Compensation: $73,000 – $104,000 annually (equivalent to $35–$50/hour), depending on experience
•Includes a KPI-based performance bonus, with approximately 10–20% of total compensation tied to performance

This is a performance-driven role, with bonus eligibility tied to:
