JOB SUMMARY
Plans, directs, and coordinates projects throughout their life cycle. The successful candidate will be skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high quality and on-time performance of tasks.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Director of Field Operations to identify and obtain manpower needs related to assigned projects
- Initiates, supports and participates in negotiations with prospective customers
- Analyzes situations and develops plans, delivery timelines and schedules, etc.
- Defines customer requirements and translates them into operational plans
- Monitors and controls cost versus budget, plans versus performance and field staffing requirements
- Analyzes effects of projects upon various operating and support areas such as Deployment Solutions, Engineering, Engineering, Purchasing & Logistics and Corporate Services to determine the most practical and cost-effective method to complete the project
- Provides direction and guidance to project teams in the execution of projects including the formulation of contingency plans, such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, funding allocations and priority alignment
- Communicates with internal and external customers as needed for project success
- Ability to travel out-of-town as needed to assigned project sites (up to 25%)

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Working on United States Army Corps of Engineers experience preferred.
- 5 years of Project Manager experience - state department experience
- Ability to secure and maintain Department of Defense Security Clearance
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver’s license
