Duties
- Assist senior technicians in inspecting properties for signs of termite activity and other pests using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Learn proper application of chemical agents for pest control, adhering to all safety and pesticide management protocols
- Operate company vehicles safely to travel between job sites, following all driving regulations and safety procedures
- Follow strict safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures during chemical handling
- Support the implementation of integrated pest management strategies tailored to each customer’s needs
- Communicate professionally with customers, explaining treatment plans and answering questions about pest control services
Experience
- No prior pest control experience required; training will be provided on all technical procedures and safety standards
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools, power tools, or farm machinery is a plus
- Outdoor work experience, including lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, and outdoor equipment operation will be advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude are essential for building trust with clients
- Ability to follow detailed safety protocols related to pesticide application and confined space entry safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles or similar is preferred
