Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.
Days available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and every other Thursdays
Some Sundays Available but not required
This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately in medical documentation.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently to optimize office operations.
- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing records, processing payments, and coordinating with insurance providers.
