- Ability to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License, including passing the exam within three testing attempts and becoming licensed in applicable states (company-supported); active license preferred
- Proficiency in a Windows-based environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with XactAnalysis and Xactimate preferred
- Company-paid adjuster licensing and exam support
- Structured onboarding in property and casualty insurance, claims handling procedures, policy coverage, and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on training with claims systems, tools, and insurance technology, plus ongoing coaching and development
- Review, evaluate, and resolve low to moderately complex property insurance claims
- Issue claim payments and explain coverage determinations, settlements, and claim status to policyholders
- Document claim activity accurately within claims management systems to meet quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and support catastrophe (CAT) claims operations, including overtime during surge events
