Position Overview – Auto Claims Manager | Chandler, AZ
We’re looking for an experienced Auto Claims Manager to lead a team of Auto Claims professionals in our new Arizona office. In this leadership role, you’ll inspire, guide, and coach your team to deliver exceptional results and customer service.
You’ll play a key part in shaping the culture and success of this new location developing your team, improving processes, and ensuring that business goals are achieved with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Auto Claims professionals to meet and exceed performance and service goals.
- Communicate job expectations clearly; plan, monitor, and appraise performance results.
- Recruit, train, and develop employees while managing schedules, assignments, and workload.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to foster continuous learning and professional growth.
- Handle escalated claims, DOI complaints, and attorney-represented cases.
- Maintain high service and quality standards through regular review and process improvement.
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic goals and initiatives.
- Promote open communication through regular meetings and team engagement.
- Support catastrophe operations as needed, including occasional overtime during surge events.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of Auto Claims experience.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to deliver superior customer service.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must hold or be able to obtain an active Arizona Adjuster License.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing systems and processes.
- Availability to work after hours or weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing Injury Claim professionals.
- 2 years handling or managing complex injury claims, including catastrophic losses or fatalities.
- Experience managing complex coverage or multi-state claims (CA experience a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Prior military service or customer service leadership experience a plus.
