What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant position at AllBreeds K9 Training Center?
AllBreeds K9 offers dog training, daycare, and boarding, and we are looking for highly motivated, self-starting, reliable, organized team players with positive attitudes to assist in daycare and maintain a healthy environment for our 4-legged guests. Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
HOURS: 35-40 hours/week. Morning shift: M-F: 6:20 AM - 2:20 PM
This is *not* a seasonal/summer-only position. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR A SUMMER JOB.
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or GED
- Be willing to learn and uphold the standards of AllBreeds care.
- Have the ability to work independently, proactively, and prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
- Be comfortable, and physically capable of handling a variety of breeds (on and off leash) in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
- Be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Safely engage a group of dogs in play and basic training in a structured environment.
- Maintain a healthy and sanitary environment.
- Follow all standards of safety with regard to handling.
- Other duties as needed.
