What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Allard Lumber Company?
· Pull and sort all lumber production on Stak Trak machine.
· Make sure all lumber is pulled into its designated load; according to size, length, and grade. All units need stacked to the correct height and width;
· Make sure stickers are properly located;
· Make sure the re-saw and trim is properly stacked into stable units. Trim unit will need to be banded;
· Work with other pullers as a team to ensure a safe and efficient production flow;
· Help ensure that all employees maintain a safe working environment and safe working habits;
· Know and utilize all lock-out/tag-out procedures associated with your job duties;
· When time allows, carry stickers, straighten loads, band units for forklift and clean up;
· Other related duties as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
