What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Care Physician – Internal Medicine / Family Medicine position at AllaraCare Medical Group?
AllaraCare Medical Group | North Shore, Massachusetts
AllaraCare Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our growing primary care practice.
We believe physicians do their best work when their clinical schedule is built to fit their life—not the other way around. We’ll work with you to create a sustainable schedule around when and how you want to practice, while maintaining the access and continuity our patients deserve.
The Role
You’ll provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a family medicine or adult patient panel in a team-based practice designed to keep physicians focused on practicing medicine.
Our physicians are supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams, modern technology, and clear workflows for referrals, refills, follow-up care, and population health.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop long-term relationships with patients
- Lead preventive care and risk-reduction efforts
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the care team
- Participate in a collaborative, team-based clinical environment
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in Epic
A Schedule That Works
We don’t believe flexibility means choosing from two predetermined schedules.
We’ll work with you to build a clinical schedule that makes sense for your life and for your patients—including thoughtful consideration of clinical days, start and end times, and protected administrative time.
We expect excellent care and real ownership of your patients. We also believe a career in primary care should be sustainable.
What We’re Looking For
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current or eligible Massachusetts medical license
- Current or eligible DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered primary care
