What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Allan & Martelle, LLP?
*Candidates who do not complete the phone interview will not be considered*
We are looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Associate Attorney to work diligently and closely with Managing Partner, Eva Martelle. You will assist Eva in managing cases, drafting legal documents and filing them with the court. You might shadow Eva in court hearings but it is unlikely that you will be asked to appear in court.
An Associate Attorney must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a heavy case load. As with every other employee in Law, an Associate must have a serious understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
The best candidates are enthusiastic to assist the Managing Partner and are willing to learn from Eva for several years before appearing before the Court. Ideally, associates will assist on Eva's cases rather than taking on their own clients with few exceptions.
We give special attention to applicants who attach a cover letter to their application or contact us directly via email to demonstrate additional interest. Generic applications with zero effort to tailor are not considered.
