Part-Time Faculty- Interior Design Program

Allan Hancock College is accepting applications to establish a pool of qualified candidates for part-time instructors for the Spring 2026 semester.

Classes will be taught in person at the Santa Maria Campus.

• Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.

• Teach all scheduled classes.

• Assignments may include day, evening, or weekend classes.

Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of professional experience in interior design, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience in interior design

SALARY:

• Lecture Rate: $56.46 to $86.44 per hour depending upon education and experience 

• Lab Rate: $49.17 to $75.26 per hour depending upon education and experience

• Activity Rate: $36.33 to $56.69 per hour depending upon education and experience

Salary : $36 - $57
