Compensation:
- Base: $45,000/year equivalent ($3,750/month)
- Commission: 15% of all secured funds, paid upon receipt, no cap
- Trial Period: 90 days (either party may end the engagement at any time; no severance)
Employment Type:
We are open to engaging the right person as either an employee (W-2) or an independent contractor (1099). This will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, preference, and working arrangement.
About the Role:
We are looking for someone who can both write and hunt. This role is responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals, while also proactively identifying new funding opportunities and building relationships that lead to awarded funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and track grant opportunities at federal, state, private, and foundation levels
- Prepare and submit persuasive proposals, LOIs, and reports
- Maintain an organized pipeline of deadlines, submissions, and award statuses
- Communicate with agencies, foundations, and partners as needed
- Work with internal teams to gather required information
- Drive measurable results toward awarded grants
