Primary Role Focus
Responsible for performing an array of duties associated with preparing equipment that will be mobilized to field work sites. While under the direction of others, gains technical knowledge of inventory, maintenance, and assembly procedures to assure product(s) meet requirements and conform to Allamon Tool Quality Management System.
· Reports to Shop Foreman and District Operations Manager
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Reports, plans, and executes applicable repairs on oil and gas equipment, tools, and products to ensure optimal performance.
· Performs packaging, labeling, loading and unloading oil and gas equipment, tools, and products.
· Execute receiving, inspection, and testing of equipment, tools, and products to ensure compliance with design criteria and safety standards.
· Report any issues with equipment, tools, and products.
· Assembly and install replacement components as needed for equipment, tools, and products.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including identification of parts used and details of work completed.
· Work with other technicians, engineers, and operations personnel to coordinate activities and ensure operational excellence.
· Performs and documents inspection and preventive maintenance of company owned machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
· Utilize forklifts, pallets jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
· Execute inspection protocols when required to use facility equipment, including company owned vehicles.
· Report technical problems with company owned machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
· Participate in training programs to stay updated with the latest technologies and safety requirements.
· Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
· Adopt a culture for safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, observing company policies and procedures.
· Maintains a clean and safe work environment on a day-to-day basis.
· Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related production tasks, or those assigned by manager.
Education, Experience and Skills
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
· Experience working in warehouse environment or mechanical assembly environment
· Oil & Gas experience an asset
· Knowledge of pressure testing and torque monitoring systems
Competencies
· Reads, interprets, and follows technical instructions, engineering schematics and technical terms.
· Understanding of machinery and equipment used in oil and gas operations.
· Knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures and best practices to ensure equipment reliability.
Physical, Business and Safety Requirements
· Safety sensitive position subject to pre-employment, post incident, random and reasonable cause drug, and alcohol testing.
· Physical ability to lift fifty pounds.
· Available to work on-call as needed.
· Stand, bend, crouch, or walk for extended periods to perform regular duties.
· Follow safety regulations, including wearing proper PPE and obtain client and regulatory required certification.
