What You’ll Do:
- Work under the supervision of occupational therapists
- Assist patients in performance of community reintegration, self-care, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, ADL’s, IADL’s, and leisure skills under the direct supervision of the occupational therapists
- Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Support and educate residents, families, and caregivers on progress towards goals
- Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License in the state of NJ
- Current CPR certification
- Passion for working with a neurologically impaired young adult population
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply - mentorship available
