What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Alladan kennels?
We are seeking a kennel attendant for a part-time position that could become full-time. The job will involve the care and well-being of pets in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of animal stalls and outside runs to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Laundry (cleaning animal bedding).
- Feeding and medicating the dogs and cats at the facility.
- Answering phones and taking reservations and preparing pet registration forms.
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care.
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm and confident, but gentle manner.
- Not afraid of "dirty work".
- Ability to deal with clients when they bring in and pick up their pets.
- Reliable transportation to and from the kennel.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.'
