Responsibilities
- Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, decking, trim, doors, windows, siding, and general repairs
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine measurements and materials
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to company quality standards
- Collaborate with team members, foremen, and project managers to execute daily tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe job site and comply with all safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of carpentry experience (residential or light commercial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret plans accurately
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Must be punctual, professional, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic math and measurement skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with framing, decking, finish work, or remodeling
- Familiarity with other trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.) a plus
- Ability to lead or train apprentices
