The All Weather Contractors, Construction Superintendent is a working, field-based leader responsible for overseeing all phases of assigned projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role serves as the primary on-site representative, actively supporting daily field operations while managing crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The Superintendent must bring strong leadership, hands-on technical ability, and proven experience in new construction—including structural wood framing, foundations, site development, and amenity or monument-style builds. Success in this role requires effective coordination with clients, inspectors, engineers, and internal teams to achieve efficient project execution and exceptional client satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum ten (10) years of verifiable construction supervision experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple job sites, schedules, subcontractors, and trade coordination.
- Handson experience with structural wood framing, foundations, exterior envelopes, site development, and amenity/monumentstyle structures is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, permitting, and inspection processes.
- OSHA 30 required; QC training preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools, and construction software (e.g., Buildertrend, PlanGrid, similar).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
- Must be able and willing to perform handson field work; this is a working
superintendent position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced understanding of renovation sequencing, general construction practices, and designbuild methodologies.
- Knowledge of groundup construction activities, including concrete work, framing, roofing, moisture barriers, exterior finishes, and structural components.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and engineering details.
- Strong leadership, problemsolving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and resolve field issues effectively.
- Expertise in safety management, quality control, subcontractor oversight, and workflow coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with professionalism under pressure.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
- Oversee renovation and new construction projects to ensure safe, timely, high quality, and costeffective execution.
- Serve as the primary onsite representative, directing field staff and subcontractors while performing handson tasks as needed.
- Develop and manage project schedules; coordinate daily site activities across multiple jobs.
- Lead new construction tasks including site prep, foundations, framing, roofing, and exterior envelope installation.
- Enforce company safety policies; conduct daily/weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the Project Manager on budgets, schedules, procurement, and client communication.
- Supervise selfperforming crews to ensure quality and adherence to specifications and code.
- Manage subcontractor performance and resolve sequencing conflicts, delays, or deficiencies.
- Coordinate permitting and inspections for all project phases.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation, job logs, safety records, and progress reports.
- Perform regular quality checks and ensure asbuilt information is properly maintained.
- Attend required meetings, site visits, and technical trainings.
- Mentor field personnel and reinforce company standards and expectations.
General Conditions and Duties:
Other duties as assigned. Some tasks may involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds; some positions may involve moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 70 pounds; standing up to eight hours each day; working in all weather conditions; exposure to high noise levels and require wearing hearing protection. The Construction Superintendent will be required to travel up to 100% and visit local and out-of-town job sites. The ability to drive & fly is required.
