Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a focus on pain management and patient assessment. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming and therapeutic environment for patients. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our patients through personalized treatment plans. We are looking for a Massage Therapist who wants a long career with a fantastic team. Upon hire, we will begin the process for Credentialing. If you are already Credentialed with local medical insurances, that would be excellent.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the most effective treatment approach.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide safe and effective treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes using appropriate medical terminology.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout their visit.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage, pain management techniques, and trigger point therapy.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
