Your Role as a Caregiver:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans.
- Encourage social engagement and community participation to promote independence.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Keep accurate documentation of care provided while following HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide mobility assistance, including safe lifting when necessary.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in caregiving (preferred), particularly in group homes or with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification (a plus!).
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
- Flexible availability to accommodate client needs.
