Shop Technician (Shop Tech)

Familiarity with hand tools and basic air tools.

Ability to learn and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift and move 50 to 75 pounds, on a regular basis.

Ability to work well under pressure.

Ability to learn quickly, thereby developing extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Trains in proper laundry room maintenance procedures according to standard company operating procedures.

Assists in resolving internal and external customer disputes.

Communicate with supervisor or manager to coordinate department activities.

Communicate with all levels of employees to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Promotes employee safety awareness and helps conduct safety-training sessions.

Participates in the safe-driving program.

Follows company vehicle-maintenance guidelines.

Maintains excellent driving and safety records.

Ability to conceptualize and remain organized.
