What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers position at All Town Transport?
Established Non-Emergency Medical Transportation company currently operating in Los Angeles and Inland Empire is seeking individuals for our Van Nuys area
Prior experience preferred but not required as All Town Transport will provide on the job training.
Applicants must have a valid and clean California Driver's License.
Must be able to obtain LADOT permit (All Town Transport will pay for permit).
Non-Emergency Drivers starting pay is $18.00 depending on experience
Non-Emergency EMT's starting pay is $18.00-18.50 depending on experience
Refer a friend and receive $150 after they pass the 90 day probation period.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
- Safely moving, lifting and positioning patients with medical equipment (gurney, wheelchair, stair chair).
- Communicating effectively with dispatch regarding schedule and receiving instructions.
- Maintain a professional image and attitude in regards to patients, family members and co‐workers.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-shift and post-shift inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Assist clients/patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
- Must understand instructions in English (both written and spoken).
- Must be able to understand and operate tablets, two-way radios, and medical transportation software.
- Perform all duties as assigned by dispatcher.
- Must be physically able to step up and down steps, safely secure clients for transport, lift up to 50 lbs, and transport wheelchair and gurney patients on paved and unpaved surfaces.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Must have possessed a valid California Driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Exceed minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Must be able to get non-ambulatory driver permit.
- Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma minimum
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasionally: Climbing, kneeling, running distance, walking, standing, lifting, pushing and pulling
Frequently: Sitting, driving, hearing/listening, and seeing.'
