Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety during transitions.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Engage in light housekeeping tasks to promote a comfortable living space.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Emergency medicine
- Hospital medicine
- Clinic environments
- Level II Trauma Center operations
- Operating Room (OR) assistance
- Outpatient care settings
- Geriatrics care
- Experience in teaching hospitals
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) familiarity
- Inpatient care experience
