Role Overview
RoXteel is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Kitter/Laborer to join our team. This position is key to making sure our ironworkers have all the parts needed to assemble each project. You’ll work with Quality Control and Material Handlers to prepare and assemble materials (kits) for specific projects, and support general shop operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Quality Control in receiving, sorting and listing new material
- Organize material into kits for the production team
- Accurately read a tape measure to 1/16” for marking and organizing steel
- Move, lift, and organize steel, tools, and scrap throughout the yard
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Operate power tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all RoXteel safety guidelines and shop standards
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Able to work in the heat and stand for most of the shift
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16" (non-negotiable skill)
- Basic blue print reading experience a plus
- Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
- Professional working proficiency in English

Schedule
Monday-Thursday | 5 am - 4 pm
Fridays | 5 am -3 pm
Occasional Saturday's to meet deadlines
Compensation & Benefits
