What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician position at All Things Automotive & Diesel?
Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Conduct powertrain repairs and replacements
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Utilize power tools and other equipment to complete repair and maintenance tasks
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair processes
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair principles
- Experience working on all types of automotive system's
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using industry-standard tools and equipment
- Knowledge of powertrain systems and components
- Ability to use power tools effectively and safely
- Knowledge of shocks, struts, and suspension systems is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
