Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sanford, FL, for a Fuel Delivery Driver. The role involves safely and efficiently delivering fuel to clients, maintaining accurate delivery logs, following all safety protocols, and ensuring the proper handling and transportation of fuel. The Fuel Delivery Driver will inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to company policies. Collaboration with team members and compliance with state and federal regulations are also essential aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with necessary endorsements (non mandatory for this truck)
- Proven experience in operating commercial vehicles and delivering fuel
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to fuel handling and transportation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and logs
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Willingness to work on-site in Sanford, FL, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
- Physical ability to lift and handle fuel hoses and equipment as required
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certifications in transportation and logistics is a plus
