Architectural Wall Installation Foreman / Lead -- Nationwide Travel

All Systems Go
Dallas, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 10/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/1/2026

Lead Commercial Installation Crews Across the United States

All Systems Go is hiring experienced Foremen and Lead Installers to help lead our nationwide architectural and modular wall installation crews.

This is a hands-on field leadership position for experienced commercial tradespeople who can do more than perform quality installation work. We are looking for people who can organize a crew, read the project, plan the work, identify problems before they become delays, communicate professionally with customers and superintendents, and take ownership of getting a project completed correctly.

Our projects include architectural glass walls, modular wall systems, doors, frames, hardware, trim, and related commercial interior construction.

Projects are located throughout the United States in office buildings, corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, government facilities, and other commercial environments.

This is not a superintendent position where you stand back and watch the crew.

ASG foremen work alongside their crews while directing the project.

What We Offer

  • $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and leadership ability
  • $100 daily travel per diem while assigned to projects
  • Overtime opportunities depending on project schedules
  • Nationwide commercial project experience
  • Specialized tools and installation equipment provided
  • Opportunity to lead increasingly complex projects
  • Advancement opportunities
  • A specialized commercial trade with varied projects throughout the country

What You'll Be Responsible For

As a Foreman or Lead Installer, you will be expected to help take ownership of the project in the field.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a small commercial installation crew
  • Install modular and architectural wall systems alongside the crew
  • Review plans, elevations, installation drawings, and project documents
  • Perform and verify field layout using dimensions, lasers, levels, and control lines
  • Plan daily work and installation sequencing
  • Assign work based on crew experience and project priorities
  • Monitor production and installation quality
  • Identify field conditions, missing materials, dimensional conflicts, and other potential delays
  • Communicate problems promptly rather than allowing them to affect the schedule
  • Coordinate with management, customers, general contractors, superintendents, and other trades
  • Track daily progress against project expectations
  • Maintain organized staging, material protection, and work areas
  • Manage punch-list completion and final installation quality
  • Enforce ASG and jobsite safety requirements
  • Train and develop less-experienced installers
  • Maintain professional crew conduct on customer jobsites
  • Represent All Systems Go professionally while traveling and working throughout the country

The Person We're Looking For

A strong ASG foreman does not need constant direction.

You should be comfortable arriving on a commercial project, understanding the installation scope, organizing your crew, identifying what needs to happen next, communicating with the appropriate people, and keeping the project moving.

We are especially interested in candidates who:

  • Take ownership of results
  • Stay calm when project conditions change
  • Communicate problems early
  • Can make sound field decisions
  • Hold themselves and their crew to a high quality standard
  • Understand the difference between being busy and being productive
  • Can lead people without creating unnecessary conflict
  • Treat customers, coworkers, and other trades professionally
  • Are willing to teach less-experienced installers
  • Can work independently without needing constant supervision

Preferred Industry Experience

Direct experience installing modular, demountable, or architectural wall systems is strongly preferred.

Experience with manufacturers such as the following is especially valuable:

  • Steelcase
  • DIRTT
  • MAARS
  • Teknion
  • Transwall
  • Infinium
  • Similar architectural glass or modular wall manufacturers

We will also consider strong leaders from related commercial trades, including:

  • Commercial glazing
  • Storefront installation
  • Finish carpentry
  • Doors, frames, and hardware
  • Commercial interiors
  • Office systems and furniture installation
  • Specialty architectural products

Candidates with strong commercial construction and leadership experience may be trained on the specific wall systems ASG installs.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Several years of commercial construction or installation experience
  • Previous experience leading, directing, or training other installers
  • Strong measuring, layout, leveling, and finish-work skills
  • Ability to read plans, elevations, shop drawings, and installation documents
  • Experience working with finished architectural materials
  • Strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, lasers, levels, and installation equipment
  • Ability to identify and solve field problems
  • Ability to organize work and maintain productivity with limited supervision
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid identification and authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Basic set of personal hand tools
  • Ability to lift and carry construction materials
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical installation work throughout the day

Preferred Certifications

  • OSHA 10
  • OSHA 30
  • Manufacturer-specific architectural wall training
  • Equipment certifications relevant to commercial construction

Travel Requirements

This is a 100% traveling position.

ASG performs projects throughout the United States.

Employees routinely travel away from home for approximately four to five weeks at a time, depending on the project. Applicants must be prepared for frequent travel throughout the year.

Travel may include:

  • Air travel
  • Rental vehicles
  • Hotels
  • Extended project assignments
  • Early morning or evening travel
  • Occasional weekend work depending on project requirements

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys traveling, working on different projects, and leading crews in changing environments.

Please apply only if you are genuinely comfortable being away from home for extended periods.

We promote based on:

  • Overall job performance

Strong Lead Installers can advance into Foreman positions.

We are looking for people who want the opportunity to grow with the company rather than simply move from job to job.
