We are immediately seeking a qualified Class A CDL Truck Driver who is highly detailed and enjoys the satisfaction of getting the job done right and on time. An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player with experience doing route deliveries in a semi-truck.
Branch: Blakely Products in Grand Rapids, MI
Work Schedule: Monday/Thursday transfers to Traverse City & Wednesday/Friday are customer delivery. No overnights.
$3k Bonus: 30, 90, and 180 business days.

Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify loads for accuracy.
- Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.
- Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
- Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Report defects, accidents, and violations.
- Communicate and coordinate with dispatch and customer care team on deliveries.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
- Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.
- Must have a CDL (Class A) and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
- Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.
- Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
- Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
- Ability to work with details such as vendor item numbers, vendor catalogs, customer lists, phone systems, and ERP software.
- Ability to learn core computer competencies with general operating systems for orders and related functions.
- Legally permitted to work in the United States.
