Job Title: Territory Sales Representative
Summary
The Territory Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales growth within a designated geographic area. This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the product or service offerings, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Develops and executes strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Proactively develops new accounts and fosters existing sales accounts through regular, strategic visits, ensuring a well-maintained visit cadence.
- Works cross functionally with strategic sales representatives in his/her assigned territory as necessary to partner and grow with other Parts ASAP business units?
- Achieves and surpasses sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through a combination of market insight and effective sales strategies.
- Leverages reports and inventory data to meticulously track store performance, identifying opportunities and implementing corrections as needed.
- Works to schedule orders in a timely manner, ensuring seamless account operations.
- Actively promote and sell new product categories to existing accounts, contributing to the continuous growth of the business.
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
- Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships to maximize revenue.
- Understands customers’ needs and provides customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Serves as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stays informed about the company's products or services and industry trends.
- Effectively communicates and demonstrates product features and benefits to potential customers.
- Provides feedback to the management team on market conditions and customer needs.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and closed deals.
- Prepares regular reports on sales performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Complies with the requirements of the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System (when required).
Required Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor's degree or significant work experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in self-motivated sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
- Computer knowledge including e-mail, Word, and Excel software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
