All-State Career School in Philadelphia, PA is hiring an HVAC Instructor to train the next generation of HVAC technicians through hands-on instruction and real-world lab learning. What you’ll do
- Teach engaging, hands-on HVAC courses that prepare students for field success
- Use instructional technology, live demonstrations, and industry-specific equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom/lab environment
- Monitor student safety and report concerns as needed
- Support retention and student success through ongoing communication and coaching
- Grade assignments, submit attendance, and maintain required documentation on schedule
- Provide course syllabus and grading criteria at the start of each term
- Assist with curriculum development and continuous program improvement
- Partner with academic leadership to address student concerns and support outcomes
- Participate in student activities and campus events (orientation, advisory board meetings, graduation)
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC industry experience
- Relevant HVAC certifications/licensure/credentials (as required by accreditation and state regulations)
- Strong communication, organization, and professionalism
- Passion for education, mentoring, and student success
- Reliable, collaborative team player with initiative
- Teaching/training experience preferred (but not required—mentoring, coaching, and field leadership count!)
