Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Dental Assisting Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, committed to student success, and experienced in the dental field. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and preparing them for successful careers as dental assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom, lab, and/or clinical instruction in dental assisting curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with program objectives
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback and support
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and grades
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accrediting standards
- Supervise students in lab and clinical settings, ensuring safety and proper technique
- Stay current with industry standards, practices, and advancements in dental assisting
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
