Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable off road articulating dump truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in heavy equipment operation and a solid understanding of mining site operation. As a dump truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials around mine site areas while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.
Duties
- Operate 40 ton dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and spoil material to different areas around the mine site.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with excavator operator and other team members to coordinate dumping material efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Experience in construction site or mining operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
- Assist with maintance of truck including fluid changes and repairs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to safety practices on mine sites is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
