Key Responsibilities with Success Metrics
Key Responsibility #1: Build Accountability and Systems
Build and enforce KPI-driven systems in Trainual, ensuring all team members understand their roles, expectations, and performance metrics, including standards to reduce callbacks and reworks.
Success Metrics:
- 100% of roles have documented KPIs
- All processes and systems are fully documented in Trainual, with a minimum of 3 completed each week until documentation is complete
- Review and refresh all documented processes and systems quarterly
Key Responsibility #2: Manage Daily Operations and Customer Escalations
Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and customer service as well as handle escalations, coordinate commercial work, and manage urgent "fires" as they arise to keep operations running smoothly.
Success Metrics:
- Track team members' performance daily to ensure progress toward monthly company-wide goals based on role and tenure
- Zero performance gaps are first discovered at the end of the month
- Callbacks and reworks only occur 10% of the time in a 30-day timeframe
- 90% of problems are solved without CEO intervention
Key Responsibility #3: Inventory and Resource Management
Manage both office and field inventory, ensure timely ordering, and optimize resources, so the team has the tools and materials needed for success.
Success Metric: Zero instances of inventory shortages; all required materials and tools available on-site and in the office when needed.
Key Responsibility #4: HR and People Management
Oversee and coordinate the life cycle of employees including scheduling of new employee training and ongoing performance management. Manage daily huddle and hold the team accountable while enforcing skill tags, tier advancement, pay increases and Summit career path progression.
Success Metrics:
- Team members demonstrate improved skills and role-specific performance, measured by 100% meeting their individual KPIs
- Schedule new employee training on the calendar and confirm the training plan with the manager at least 72 hours prior to the new hire start date.
- Utilize The 5-Star Employee Hiring System to recruit and hire staff, maintaining a 95% retention rate
